Dewald Vermeulen

His Story:
Dewald graduated from the University of Pretoria completing his Drama degree in 2018 with Musical Theatre as his major. Some of his University production roles include Cliff in Cabaret. In his final year he was the external culture House Committee member of residence which led him to coach the UP Acapella / Serenade team as well as write their own composition.

In 2019 his voice starred as the characters of Heatblast, Diamondhead, Grey Matter and Stinkfly in the Afrikaans dubbing of Ben10 that aired on SABC2. He was also the Artistic Director of the Broadway2SA camp 2019, presented by the National Arts Association. He also starred as Mike Teavee and Mr. Bucket in the Naledi Award nominated production Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
